About the Company:

A manufacturing business based in South Leicestershire are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Yard Worker to join their team. As a Factory Yard Worker, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the factory yard, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

The Factory Yard Worker Role:

• Managing goods in and out
• Operating a counterbalance forklift
• Driving the company van and general labour tasks
• Keeping the yard and factory floor clean
• Sorting waste into the correct containers
• Unloading lorries with sheet materials and organizing storage in the factory
• Assisting in the loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Performing basic maintenance tasks
• Following all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment

About You:

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Valid counterbalance forklift operator certification
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
