Job Role: Draughtsperson (Tekla detailer)
Location or Commutable from: Loughborough

Salary: £30,000 to £45,000 per annum DOE

The Company:

You will be joining a steel fabrication and processing specialist and will be responsible for producing general arrangement drawings and 3D models of architectural and structural steel components.

The Candidate:

• Fully competent in the use of either Tekla software packages
• Ideally with a minimum of 2 years within a similar role
• Capable of liaising both with internal and external customers

Draughtsperson Responsibilities:

• Using Tekla to model structures from engineer’s designs and general arrangement drawings.
• Materials scheduling for procurement, including the preparation of prelim and bolt lists.
• Generating drawings and exporting to other formats.
• Creating CNC data for production.
• Appreciation of manufacturing methods and technologies.
• Appreciation of codes and standards used in steel engineering.
• Detailing both fabrication and prep drawings for the Projects and Contracts team.
