Job Role: TIG Welder Fabricator

Location: Derby

Shift: 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-15:30 Friday

Pay Rate: up to £17.00 p/h depending on experience

The Company:

Reputable manufacturing company in Derby are looking for a TIG Welder Fabricator to join their growing team that value great attention to detail with a guarantee of an exceptional end product.

The Candidate:

• The ideal candidate for the job TIG Welder Fabricator will have good experience of tig welding on various materials, including aluminium.
• Must be able to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, adhere to relevant welding codes, and have experience with 5S and / or lean manufacturing.

Job Role Responsibilities:

• Be an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator, and coded welder
• Must be able to read engineering drawings
• Experienced in welding techniques including TIG/ MIG on various materials especially aluminium.
• Must adhere to health and safety guidelines and rules, ensuring correct PPE is always worn (and replaced when necessary)
• Always maintain a high level of quality, and attend any training to further develop knowledge and skill
• Must accept products and inspect for quality prior to any further processing, and highlight any defects to the Team Leader

Licences / Certification Required:

• Sheet metal / fabrication
