Job Role: Laser Operator
Location or Commutable from: Leicester

Shift: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm Rotating
Pay Rate / Salary: £12-£14 per hour depending on experience

The Company:

Our client is a sheet metal manufacturer based in the Leicester area. They work with an exciting portfolio of clients producing components for the retail display industry.

The Candidate:

• Precision Sheet Metal work experience
• Experience of setting and operating CNC laser
• Ability to read engineering drawing
• Ability to use engineering measuring equipment
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

Laser Operator Responsibilities:

• To Manufacture precision detailed sheet metal components including the set up and use of a Bystronic laser
• To use precision equipment such as vernier callipers
• To use and maintain equipment
• Responsible for ensuring the high standard of housekeeping is maintained
• To support team members with other tasks as and when necessary
• Responsible for ensuring that all Health and Safety Policies are adhered to
• To carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area which includes Assembly, Machine Shop, and Fabrication
